Thought
The old development model is dead
The whole way we used to build software is dead, and anyone forcing it onto AI agents is lost.
Remember Scrum, Kanban, Scrum masters, estimation meetings and planning poker?
Today a team ships ten variations to production in the time it took to argue whether a story was 1 or 3 points.
A few years apart, and it looks like a different world.
Sprints, story points, standups and handoffs all assumed that writing code was the slow part.
It isn't anymore.
Teams that bolt agents onto the old rituals still move at the old speed.
Anyone trying to fit the old patterns into this new world is lost.
